The object of the Guild is to promote, foster and develop woodcraft and encourage excellence in woodcraft and related design in the Australian Capital Territory and Region.

Guild Constitution

Guild Premises. The Guild's own workshop, "The Shed", is located at Lions Youth Haven, Kambah Pool Road, Kambah, ACT. Unless otherwise specified all Guild activities take place at The Shed.

Monthly meetings: These are held at "The Shed" from 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm, on the final Wednesday of the month.

2008 Monthly meeting dates are: 30 January; 27 February; 26 March; 30 April; 28 May; 25 June; 30 July; 27 August; 24 September; 29 October; 26 November. There is no monthly meeting in December.

Regular Activity: Guild Supplies and Timber & Tools Sales


ROUTINE WEEKLY ACTIVITIES AT THE SHED

  • Working Bee & Drop-in SIGs: Tuesday & Thursday, 10.00 am until about 4pm. There is always something to do!
  • Drop-in night: Wednesday 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm. Come along and do your own thing or receive or provide a helping hand.
